The Jacksonville Cemetery contains an interpretive Center with information regarding the history of the cemetery, information on restoration and preservation. There are also interpretive panels through the cemetery with information about each section. Self-guided tours are available as well as a guided “History Saturday” tour the second Saturday of every Month, May through September. 20 Miles of hiking trails connected by interpretive and recreational trails are accessible in Jacksonville. The trails offer small creeks, interpretive markers, remnants of old gold mines, forests, vistas and the town’s old reservoir. Historic Trolley Tours & Transportation
The trolley stop will be at the Visitor Information Center which is located on the corner of North Oregon & C Street. Right beside the post office. Tickets can be purchased at the Visitor Information Center by cash, check or credit card and on board for cash only.
Tickets are only sold in person and on the day of the tours. This helps us to avoid selling tickets for any times the trolley may be booked for private tours or out of commission for other reasons.
Fares $6 for adults
$3 for children (Children held on a lap do not require a ticket)
