Élan Guest Suites was envisioned, created and then established in the spring of 2006 by Chérie Reneau and Duane Sturm.

Built in the Italianate design of historic Jacksonville’s 1860’s archectecture, the business name was inspired by the French word élan, which means flair, elegance, grace or panache!

Chérie’s intuitive sense of decor and placement ensures that guests will enjoy a restful, inspired and unique experience. Duane’s attention to detail and flawless upkeep of Élan allows visitors to feel pampered and valued. Local artist Gabriel Mark Lipper’s original paintings enhance the first and second story guest suites, inviting guests to linger in a state-of-the art.

The boutique hotel is conveniently located in Jacksonville’s Historic Core, one block to the Britt Festival and Woodland Trails and next door to Gogi’s fine dining. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by Chérie or Duane, introduced to the secured parking garage, your suite’s amenities, and guaranteed privacy during your stay at Élan.
